GUEST LECTURES





GIMT gives lot of emphasis on close interaction with industry professionals through experience sharing on regular basis. CIC Committee is responsible for organizing bi-monthly industry interaction under the guidance of Incharge -CIC through:

· Corporate Meet

· CEOs Forum

· Industry Leaders Forum

Students take complete responsibility right from identifying the topic, speakers, inviting the speakers, notifying the students and faculty, ensuring proper decorum and finally conducting the event.


ACADEMIC COMMITTEE

This committee works for the betterment of various academic activities. A Student Coordinator is selected for carrying out the work on monthly inhouse newsletter, organizing discussions, debates and presentations on current topics. The Committee is also responsible for day to day classes, discipline and introduction of new topics as per the industry demand. The Committee is also free to suggest from time to time, addition of new titles to the library.


CULTURAL COMMITTEE





Cultural committee is responsible for harmony on the campus where every student has a free hand to contribute towards various cultural activities as per their inherent or acquired talent. The jobs handled by this committee are:-

* Organizing Cultural events and social events
* Finalize Cultural events for the session
* Select and groom hospitality team for various activities



SPORTS COMMITTEE





Sports are a vital part of any academic curriculum. GIMT is in the process of opening up a cricket academy with Mohd. Azharuddin as the mentor. Also it has an Olympic size jogging track, basket ball and football ground, indoor games like table tennis, chess and a very well equipped Gymnasium. We encourage students with good sporting abilities.



PLACEMENTS COMMITTEE

We encourage students to take on the responsibility for Placements. The student placement committee along with CIC and the faculty ,actively takes the initiative for carrying out with responsibility, the following activities :-

· Design & Printing of Placement Brochure

· Conducting Recruitment Survey

· Interaction with Past Recruiters

· Placement Presentation at various companies

· Organizing the Career Counseling session by experts

· Organizing Resume Writing, GD and Interviews skills development Sessions

· Maintaining student Resume Bank

· Developing and maintaining Corporate Database

· Allocation of companies to students groups

ACHIEVEMENTS

Our students participated in inter college festive “UDAAN-07” held at JIM, Noida. They did outshine other 17 management institutes participants in "GENESIS" and begged first position in solo singing competition. Recently our students participated in Fest Organized by DU, where they won prizes in various activities. They were special invitees at IIM-L for MANFEST, 08.
