CIC is a nodal center which acts as a resource center for faculty, students and Industry. In addition the assistance is provided in organizing Industry visits, Guest lectures, CEOs Forum, Quizzes, corporate get-togethers. The Cell actively involves students in various activities to develop the Participative Managerial Effectiveness. It also helps students by counseling them to choose an appropriate career depending on their aptitude and interest. The Cell helps find the student, appropriate summer project and final placements. The Placement activity is entirely coordinated by the students under the guidance of faculty and CIC Team.
INDUSTRY INTERACTION
Continuous interaction with the industry helps students to build the strong relationship with the industry professionals. This also helps students to understand the corporate world better and develop themselves as per the industry needs. The industry interaction is carried out by Students CIC Committee in following forms:

SUMMER TRAINING
At the end of the first year, the students are required to work in the industry for a period of 8 to 10 weeks; this gives them an opportunity to apply the theory to practice and bring out their latent capabilities. Each student is assigned a faculty guide who supervises the summer project .
On completion of training, a project report is submitted by students, which is evaluated by a panel of experts. Scoring a satisfactory grade in summer internship is a requirement of PGDM programme.
WINTER PROJECTS
To supplement the theoretical inputs, students are required to work on live projects in industry so that he/she is able to see practical situations in the context of conceptual frameworks learnt during the classes. As a part of specialization paper during second year (after third semester) students under go this training in order to submit a dissertation on the topic of their choice or assigned by the organization. The CIC helps them find organisations where they could work and also helps in formulating the projects.
