Q2. How different is GIMT from most B-schools?   

A2: There are about 1500 business schools in India but only few make it to the Top. GIMT stands as a new institute with a difference. The emphasis is on development of well rounded personality of an individual based on highest standard of ethical and moral values coupled with strong focus on contribution to society. We look forward to GIMT acquiring  a position at par with the best and old established institutes across the country.

Q3. Is GIMT going to have an independent Infrastructure?

A3: GIMT already has its first independent set up in Noida and in the year ahead we will have a campus at Allahabad also to begin with.

Q7.What is the fee of the PGDM Program?

A7: Industry competitive. The Two Year PGDM Program involves a tuition fee of Rs. 2 lakhs per year.  The Fee covers the cost of a laptop, books, study material. It is payable at the beginning of each semester for which the dates will be specified with the admission letter.

Q8. What will be the nature of the placement Jobs?

A8: Marketing executive, Financial Executive, HR Executive and jobs befitting PGDM qualification.

Q9: When will the Placements start?

A9: In the second year, fourth semester onwards (from January, 2009 onwards).

Q10.Will we go out for management internships?

A10: GIMT schedules one internship for the PGDM Program as an opportunity in business leadership and social orientation. The duration for this 8-10 weeks after second semester and the winter project is for a shorter duration (2-3 weeks) after third semester.

Q11. How will the admission be for the 2 years Full time PGDM?

A11: All GIMT admissions are made through an accredited admission process for any management program. All applicants for the Two Year PGDM must fulfill the following requirements :-

   1.    Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in any discipline from a statutory university with at least 50% aggregate marks.

   2.  Common Admission Test (CAT), XLRI Admission Test (XAT) or MAT Scores

   3.  The candidates graduating by 30th June 2008 can also apply.

   4.  Candidates with work experience are also eligible to apply.

 4.     Short listed candidates will be called for a Group-discussion and Interview  to be conducted by a team of faculty and industry professionals.

• Students with meritorious certificate in the field of sports, academics or extra curricular activities will be given due weightage in the final selection.
