- Reasonable accommodation for students and staff with disabilities, in line with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
- Mentoring, bridge courses and remedial support for students who need them.

Equal Opportunity Cell
The Equal Opportunity Cell advises students on academic, financial, social and other matters, oversees the implementation of welfare schemes and handles complaints of discrimination. It works with the SC/ST cell and the other student welfare cells constituted as required by the regulations. [To be confirmed by GIMT: name and contact of the Equal Opportunity Cell coordinator and the SC/ST cell liaison officer]
Students with disabilities
Students can request accessible classrooms, reserved seating, extra time, scribes, accessible learning material and other support. Requests are confidential and are decided with the student. See also our Accessibility statement.
Reporting discrimination
Complaints of discrimination can be made to the Equal Opportunity Cell or under the Grievance Redressal Policy. Complaints are handled confidentially and no one is victimised for raising a concern.
