GIMT wants everyone — including people with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive disabilities — to be able to use this website and our campus independently.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA and the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites wherever they apply.
What we have done
- Pages work with a keyboard alone and show a visible focus indicator.
- Images carry text alternatives, and headings follow a logical order.
- Colour contrast meets AA levels; text can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content.
- Animations respect the "reduce motion" setting of your device, and carousels can be paused.
- Forms have labels, clear error messages and do not rely on colour alone.
On campus
